Year 6, don’t worry, I have not forgotten you – so much so, I am going to invest in trophy just for your class – as I know you are tied to one of the harder levels!

Mathletics
Hello!
Just to let you all know, we will be starting an amazing new activity in school, just after half term. We have invested in the World Maths Day software, so you will soon be able to work on your mental maths and lots of other areas, both at school and at home!

Check out the new additions!
If you have a look at the top of the page, you will see a small button with ‘videos’ written on it. If you give it a click it will transport you to the starting set of videos, made by Year 4.
Hopefully over the next few months we will be able to add to this collection, remember, if you would like to know about a particular area of Maths- just let us know.

Hello everyone!
Just a quick little note to let you know that we will be taking part in the World Maths Day this year. All children from Year 1 up will be sent home with a username and password, by the end of this week, which they can use to log on and play the online maths game!
On the day – 4th of March – the children will have the chance to use all of the computers at school and see how many questions we can answer correctly.
Hopefully this should be good fun and will help the children with their mental maths.

Hello
This is the first post in the New Wroxham Maths Site. We will be setting the Blog up so that it will provide our brilliant children with some great links to the wider Internet – suggesting websites and activities that will help with understanding Maths.
We also hope to include some of the main methods we use in school to help work being completed at home. We will try and explain the main elements of all areas of the Maths covered at school, using pictures, text and even video!
Please feel free to use the comment facility to ask any questions or to give suggestions.
